Brenda and I are backpacking the Dark Canyon in Utah. 1 week out and our packs are ready, the Jeep is tuned and we are planning. With the help of our friend Jim, who runs the Recapture Lodge in Bluff, Utah, we will be able to make this epic trip! 40 miles of back country canyon. A sample of what’s ahead:

On the big island of Hawaii outside of Kona you can find an Ancient trail through a lava flow. This trail was named sacred by King Kamehameha. Along the trail, carved into the lava, are petroglyphs and “ancient graffiti”.
